Transporting a grill, even a mini Weber, to the park is messy and cumbersome (though we will continue to do it on occasion because we don't feel the need to own more than one grill). But the City Boy Grill aims to stylishly and compactly make it possible to grill anywhere on more of a whim. Here's the pitch: "The City Boy portable grill can easily be taken along on a boat trip, for a walk in the forest, or on your balcony... ...Because of its small size it travels along easily even on the back of your bicycle. It is also convenient for winter use by Sunday skaters or ice fishers."
Made from powder painted steel, stainless steel, and oak, and designed by Klaus Aalto, you can find it at I.D. Chicago for $300. Any takers? (This post republished from 7/11/06)
