Transporting a grill, even a mini Weber, to the park is messy and cumbersome (though we will continue to do it on occasion because we don't feel the need to own more than one grill). But the City Boy Grill aims to stylishly and compactly make it possible to grill anywhere on more of a whim.
Here's the pitch: "The City Boy portable grill can easily be taken along on a boat trip, for a walk in the forest, or on your balcony...
...Because of its small size it travels along easily even on the back of your bicycle. It is also convenient for winter use by Sunday skaters or ice fishers."

Made from powder painted steel, stainless steel, and oak, and designed by Klaus Aalto, you can find it at I.D. Chicago for $300.
Any takers?

Great idea, but how about the Goanywhere gas gril from Weber? I have that, it's been a fantastic little gas grill, been using it most of the year since I first purchased it in the summer of 2004. I just place it on a folding metal table on my apartment balcony, with the lid locked in place, gas canister removed and placed inside, it's easily portable and only set me back some $60 then.
Perfect I say.
