"Clamp-a-book, clamp-a-hook, clamp-a cable..." The organizational possibilities are endless with Jorre van Ast's Clampology project. An industrial designer by trade, Van Ast has created simple clamps for simple jobs. Designed in various shapes (but all in that same blue), these taskmasters not only do their job but also look pretty nifty.

Inspired by Clampology, Clamp a Leg is a set of four legs, reinforced and complete with the blue clamps. The 'easy on, easy off' clamping action allows any flat surface to instantly become a table or counter top. The look isn't necessarily polished but there's something to be said for wood shop chic.

The products are purely conceptual right now but we see a DIY only a hardware store visit away.
