Name: Clara of Banner Day
Location: Oakland, CA

We live in a small not-so-hipster 1930's cottage, one of the few that survived in our neighborhood from the 1991 Oakland firestorm. We moved here after living in San Francisco for several years.

We love our Rockridge neighborhood, the pedestrian lifestyle of College Ave, and the quick access to vast hiking trails all over the East Bay. We love that our home is warm, inviting, and reflects our personalities, but remains clutter-free and serene.

Although we prefer the clean lines of mid-century furniture, we've tried to make sure that our furnishings don't clash with the traditional style of our home. What we love most from our home is the natural light and the wonderful view of Marin on a clear day.

Thanks, Clara!
