When I was in high school, I wanted a 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang convertible in candy apple red. Those days are long gone and I will most likely never have that car. In lieu of it, I'll gladly take a classic Tolix chair all dolled up in a glossy shade of Bordeaux. I am not one to use this phrase often, but meow.
I'm currently only able to find them at Antiquaire in Highland Park, Illinois, but I will patiently be waiting til these beauties are available in my neck of the woods. I normally lean toward wooden chairs with organic lines, but there is something inherently fun and sexy to these chairs that makes my dining table need them now. Or perhaps one would be great at my desk...might as well add a dose of fun there.
What are your thoughts? Are you bound to the classic gunmetal gray Tolix or is this just the pop of color you've been looking for?
