Trying to get orgnaized? Here's a cool new Web application that might help you get started on that less-than-tidy file cabinet full of mostly useless paperwork: Manuals Online helps you locate—and save for later!—user manuals, how-to guides, installation instructions, and tutorials from most every manufacturer and product you've got in your home...
All you have to do to get started is head on over to TheUSerManualSite.com. You can browse manuals by product type, by brand or search with keywords.
The manuals and guides stay stowed safely in cyberspace, but are available for download as soon as you drop the batteries out of universal remote (Who hasn't had to look up that damn code for their TV model a thousand times?).

Husband scans the sales receipt, and the product manual, even the box, if the manual and box are easy to scan. But we have often used on-line manuals for things we bought used, or for lost manuals.
Downloading is far better than offline storage, manuals are a pretty small file size.
