Have decent light in your apartment but are lacking on the windowsill space? Check out this simple hanging planter idea that will keep things vertical with its towering tiers instead of filling every window ledge in your space with pots.
Design*Sponge recently featured this unique DIY project. Quite often hanging planters are large in nature and require big plants to fill them. The smaller size pots can get lost in a space, but this tiered planter project is just what the doctor ordered. It's sure to keep all your ferns in view or succulents in the sun.
The planter is made from recycled scrap wood, though we're pretty sure a trip to the hardware store would suffice if you're not in possession of such things. Want to see how it's made?
