Color & Light: Stained Glass at Home

I've been working with a local artist to design a stained glass panel to go in the transom above the front door to my Baltimore home. As I sit here waiting to see the final result, I've got stained glass on the brain.

While it carries historical and traditional significance, stained glass also can be done in modern and even playful ways. And don't be afraid to get creative — the door in the first image is actually color swatches over clear glass.
