We've talked about Clek's Latch Booster seat in the past, but we have a special love for these full back models. They're loaded with safety features and best of all, click in place without complicated straps or the thought of climbing in the back seat of your mini-van, swearing under your breath as you lock it down.
You can read more about Clek's Oobr safety features from their website, there's even a little graphic demonstration on how they click into place. Their fabric is extra kid-friendly and keeps stains away while being water repellent.
The Oobr seat also boasts the ability to slide forward while still being latched in tight, allowing the seat to recline back 12 degrees, making napping and sleeping in the car a little easier and with less strain on tiny necks and shoulders. The back can be removed entirely for older children, allowing the unit to grow along with your child.
You can read more about Oobr over at Clek! They're available online and at children's retailers around the country for around $300.

Am I doing something wrong? Our daughter's booster seats sits on top of the car's own seat and then she uses the seat belt to buckle herself in. No complicated straps or climbing in the back of the car... At least, I don't see any...
We've been using a Römer Kidfix since 2007, which tested "best in group" in European safety testing, and is also attached via IsoFix. The Kidfix also reclines, which is a nice feature on long trips.

The Recaro Monza Seatfix is even more comfy, and even has a speaker system integrated into the seat. It also won a red dot design award...

These look GREAT! I Love the Paul Frank Julius seat!!!!
These are nice seats. My daughter has been enjoying hers.
The base is wider and flatter than many other models on the market. The latch system makes the seat much more stable than seats that rely on the seatbelt and childs weight to hold them into place. This is an advantage for kids climbing in the seat and when making sharp turns (like right before a wreck).
The seat both roomy and provides lateral support. This is often an either-or with seats.
Yes, it is expensive, but only when compared to the flimsy boosters on the market - not when compared to the quality child seat you're likely moving them out of. This is also a seat they will spend many more years in, so cost/year is actually lower.
My only complaint is that the fabric is a hair magnet. It would be more appropriate for a lint roller than a kid seat. We have the monkey seat. Not sure if the others are the same.
Shop around, and use things like the Bing cashback program to save some dough.
