Location: City Bowl — Cape Town, South Africa
Our house is over 100 years old and is a typical Victorian semi-detached City Bowl cottage. Clem is an architect and two years ago we undertook a major renovation. Heritage concerns required that the old character was retained for the street aspect — however, the addition is contemporary, personalized and belies its external look. The renovations also optimized our fabulous view of Table Mountain and sought to use every inch of the property.

What are those neat-o black bath mats on the shot of the bathroom. They're like doilies almost. So cool to scatter them on the floor. I'm gonna steal that idea!
The rail-less stairwell beside the bed scares me. The TV seems a bit out of place too. But otherwise the place looks great.
