Clementine Crate Doll Bed

Heather Ross on Martha Stewart

Do your kids go through clementines like mine do? They are the perfect snack: portable, easy to peel, sweet and healthy. So I end up with my share of clementine "crates." We've seen lots of ideas for repurposing these containers before, including Honey Bear's crate bed. But Heather Ross put together her own take on the clementine crate doll bed that is so adorable we couldn't pass it up.

Inspired by a book she illustrated, Crafty Chloe, Ross reused other household items, like paint stirrers, to create this cute bed. The mattress is made from old dish towels. And if you don't have enough paint stirrers around the house, you could likely use craft sticks or, for a more rustic look, sticks from the yard.
