Jody Morlock may have the world's most awesome day job as the makeup artist for The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, but her art is what makes her tick. Now available through Clic Gallery, Jody's wildly colorful panel paintings master the creepy-funny vibe, with skeletons, tattooed ladies and hammerhead sharks jostling next to poodles and rubber duckies, the love child of Tim Burton and a graffiti artist. Not content with beautiful, inventive paintings alone, Jody creates sweetly deranged sculptures from found objects and was recently selected by architect Jeffrey Beers and Todd English to create the art for English's newest restaurant Ca Va in the Theater District.
