Even in a housing slump, the area we call home is still in high demand, so we've resolved ourselves as renters for life (we love our neighborhood, so the idea of moving isn't really a desirable option). But that doesn't mean we don't partake in a little bit of lottery-winnings daydreaming, especially during our walks through our neighborhood where there are plenty of open houses and for sale signs. We especially like this service aimed at both realtor and home shoppers alike: QR codes for house listings.
Clikbrix is such a simple idea, it's a surprise every house for sale doesn't have this feature included on signage or listing sheets. When a house using Clikbrix is paired up with your Android, iPhone or other smartphone QR Code reader, a complete property listing is revealed for you to refer to later, including photos, especially helpful if you missed or cannot make an open house or want a peek inside before committing to a visit.
It's very much a similar idea we discussed in regards to rental listings with our realtor buddy over at TakeSunset recently, a feature which would particularly come in handy for us life long renters who are always on the prowl for an affordable upgrade (or downgrade). Do you hear that Westside Rentals and Craigslist?
