What does that mean, that Clio is a sister to Global Table? Are they owned by the same person? (love G.T. by the way)
Make sure they wrap up the "thin glassware from Eastern Europe" carefully and don't place it at the bottom of a bag with heavy platters on top.
I found this out the hard way and was only offered a small discount on a replacement.
Very disapointed.

make sure nothing you try to purchase through Clio is back ordered---if it is expect to wait a long, long time to get what you have paid for...
Not sure either what the post means by "sister relationship" between these two stores. As far as I know, they are separately owned, and I don't think there are the fondest relations between the two.
To set the record straight, there is no "sister relationship" between Clio and Global Table. Global Table started over 13 years ago and for years the owners of Clio were customers of GT and had even registered for their wedding list there. They approached GT"s owner for advice when they decided they wanted to open their own store. She gave that advice which never imagining they would open a clone around the corner. How's that for karma?
Wow, i just bought a pair of those candleholders at a thrift sore and had never seen any like them before. But mine are made of teak.
