You know all of those papers that pile up on your desk and make it difficult to get any work done? They often get tossed there in haste, but here's a solution that takes barely any more time yet keeps your desktop pile-free:
Hang a few clip boards on the wall and clip papers into them anytime you need to keep them. You don't even have to sort and organize the papers right away: just clip them up and sort once every week or two. Or, if you're a tad more organized, assign a category to each clip board ("inbox", "outbox", "bills to pay", etc.) to keep your papers sorted from the get-go.

Nomade Express Slee...
Great idea! Will have to think about doing that in our art room.
"Clip Boards Hold Desk Clutter on the Wall"
Yes they do...
@mjr -- Word!
So now, instead of lying horizontally on the desk, the mess stands up on the wall and looks me in the eye like the Loch Ness Monster.
I prefer my walls to have art on them.
where did you get the desks?
The desk looks custom; is it? I'm always on the search for the long, shallow desk. More usable space.
I have four of them in my craft-room, above the table, but I only hang "inspirational-pieces" and small pieces of fabric there, only things that look nice.
I would never put my bills there.
I could see adding several more to include art, greeting cards, inspiration. A movable feast.
What a pretty little, albeit unrealistic, office space! Nice keyboard, too bad there's no computer monitor or tower or laptop anywhere to be found. Looks like a very nice Ikea display. Now if only my office could look so pristine... then again, if it did, it would mean there were no projects in progress or pending.
I've done this for my son's art display. It lets us display his artwork in HIS room and leaves me with a clutter-free fridge. Plus, his are orange.

@Terry Computer monitor on left wall mounted on wall--IKEA chairs, frames, lamps. What did we do before IKEA?
Was this picture taken in an IKEA store? I've seen the whole thing, including the clipboards-on-walls, at IKEA.
Are you guys ALL BLIND!?!?! Can't you read? The cabinets and desk are custom by Cheyenne Millwork and Custom Cabinets.
Wow.
