Clocks are generally functional and often visually appealing, making them fine specimens for collecting. Here, we gather a few examples of clocks in collections...
We're wondering a few things about collecting clocks: Is it a chore keeping them all set to the same time? Are they all battery operated when displayed on a wall with no cords? And are any chimes turned off to avoid a frenzy at every hour, on the hour?

I might have more clocks if I thought the tick-tock chorus wouldn't keep me awake at night. It would.
#2: forget the clocks, I love that wall!
#4's the nicest, IMO... the clocks look like art/sculpture.
I love having one tick-tock per room, but don't know if I could deal with multiple. Still, I love clocks. And there are some great clocks here: http://thewifeofanartist.blogspot.com/2009/08/tick-tock-tick-tock.html (scroll down for a great collection).
but what TIME is it? none of the clocks have the same time in that top photo. it's about the time, not the clock.
I do think it looks beautiful! But the ticking would drive me crazy. For me it would have to be all disabled clocks.

I have a few old clocks. Most don't work, but I love the way they look and are interesting. I do have my essential alarm and wall clocks that do work!
I have a thing for clocks. Thank you for letting me know I'm not alone. :)
