When it comes to where you put your decor dollars, the closet door might not be the first place you think to address, but this tutorial from One Kings Lane will change your mind. When I spotted these easy instructions I knew I had to share. For under a Benjamin, you can create a beautiful focal point where your boring old closet used to be. I'm so doing this!

The star of this show? A ceiling medallion! An easy way to add interest and detail to the ceiling and (DUH!) really anywhere at all. Then it's a just a matter of attaching it the right way and giving a coat of color.

Your cost will depend on which materials you choose, but unless you're opting for gold-plated medallions, you'd be hard-pressed to spend over $100. This Home Depot ceiling medallion is $29.99, but there are lots of varying options. All in all, it's a tiny price for such a hugely impactful easy project. Trying this one!
