Everything from the Denon and Onkyo electronics to the framed Star Wars posters to the Danish modern furniture pieces, all screams contemporary geek while maintaining a composed and controlled design aesthetic. Using cabinets to store physical media, spacing out the speakers so nothing is all in one place, and fusing tons of original art into every nook and cranny, the resulting effect is nothing short of remarkable (and clean!).
Despite all of the white tech going on, they chose not to settle with a white-bezeled LCD television (you can take a look at a few we've rounded up here). We think this was a smart choice, however, since the black - along with all of the color warm punches of color added via art and pillows - does a great job in creating a fun environment where your eyes never get tired of wandering.
Art plays a huge part in Tila's home. Canvas lay stretched and layered with an urban-contemporary paint style next to couches so comfortable during movie watching that you almost forget that you're sitting in a home theater.
Did we mention there are robots everywhere? Yeah, we dig the robots.
"Vinyl almost always sounds nicer. Funny that not much has changed over the years for this wonderful format." We really dig the little vinyl storage crates (we're guessing they're IKEA-esque in many ways). Little details like this keep the space varied and warm, away from that cold industrial look that many spaces hold onto quite tightly when using turntables as decor and listening to vinyl on a daily basis.
Now, unfortunately, we must bid adieu to Tila's wonderful home. A fantastic little space it was. Let her know what you thought of her space in the comments!

stunning.
I was just eyeing those Ikea boxes for vinyl last week.
What is the projector setup?
Also, is a projector screen essential if you have a blank white wall?
Depends on the color of the white paint. Most paints are an off-white, which will reproduce funny when you put a movie on it. You could always hang a canvas up.
ooh, is that silver Krink on the wall with the tv?
Projector looks like an older generation Panasonic (AE-700/900) with a painted case.
@MissMatlock, glad you caught the Krink influence as well. Love it!
I don't say this often but I love that rug!!! Where is it from? Anyone know?
I have a white cat (big and fluffy...sheds a little bit) and finding a nice white based rug is hard but I am really attracted to the one in the top photo. Any help would be appreciated.
Anyone got a model number for those Phillips headphones? I've looked everywhere and can't find them.
@ElSorcho Those are the Philips SHP8900, I believe.
wow, really nice color palette. I really like the wall decoration behind the TV. Is that wallpaper or a decal?
@absolutmarie Would be pretty bold if he did it with just paint! But I'm guessing it's a decal.. maybe..
