So much inspiration comes to us from the House Tours/Calls we post. We adore the lovely blue kitchen ceiling in our House Call: Diana Fayt. Jump below for more pics...

We'd do this in a heartbeat if our landlady hadn't painted our kitchen green.

That tile. The bentwood chairs. The tablecloth. Oh my.
I just want to sit there and drink wine and talk with a good friend for hours and hours.
The ceiling is nice, but so is the rest of the kitchen. Lovely.
boo-tee-full!
(oops, they should have ironed out the fold marks of the table cloth before photographing)
Sweet as can be. I can smell lemon-poppyseed loaf and a pot of real tea...
I love the idea of painting the ceiling a different color then the walls and have for years when I first starting being able to make my own decorating decisions. That blue is particularly beautiful.

This will be perfect in my bedroom before they put up the new white crown molding! Thanks!
i love the blue ceilings...gives an illusion of sky...very fresh
The magnetic knife rack with the knives pointing down made me want to wear safety boots.
I expect them to be point up, and slightly slanted for a quick grab. Is this like putting the toilet roll in the holder, or a real safety issue?
I LOVE the idea of painting the ceiling blue and leaving the walls white. it really opens it up and brings the outdoors in! to die for!
get inspired!
