Name: Glen Benton
Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Glen Benton's Gothenburg apartment is just about the perfect idealization of an Unplggd dream abode. Every corner of the apartment is filled with technology...but you wouldn't immediately notice it because Glen has done a superb job of incorporating an array of speakers, home computing, home theater components and even a projector/screen setup with artwork and furnishings without creating the usual tech clutter associated with those afflicted with that most expensive of ailments, techlust-ilitis.

A DIY painted Chippendale cabinet paired with an IR Extender hides away his Denon DVD player, a Panasonic Blu-Ray player, Tag McLaren audio gear and even a turntable for his LP collection, while wall mounted speakers are tastefully matched the to the apartment's architectural embellishments. Even subtracting the home electronics elements to this apartment, Glen has arranged a most dashing and sophisticated of interiors...

A wall mounted IKEA cabinet hides his selection of DVDs and CDs, while Canton Ergo speakers are strewn throughout the living room, the center speaker even embedded into the wall for space saving reasons and hidden behind a door when not in use. The Swedish apartment's minimal aesthetic is balanced with a healthy dash of colour throughout, offering a bachelor pad full of tech toys mixed in with traditional forms and textures.

Other electronics goodies include an OneForAll URC-8308 Kameleon 8 remote to manage his slew of home theater equipment, a Muji Wall Mounted CD Player wall mounted in the dining room (it's very easy to miss, but right here smack dab in the middle), a Mac Mini and Aopen XC Cube for gaming needs, a Vincon minimal display beside clock, a Tivoli Audio PAL radio, and tucked away Apple Airport Express Base Station that provides wi-fi throughout. Glen's bedroom is outfitted with a Panasonic Viera TH-42PA50 and a Pioneer DVR-540HX 160GB for some in-bed entertainment, while the 106" pull down screen is ceiling hung and used with a Sanyo PLV-Z5 when he wants a more serious home theater experience. Helt fantastiska, Glen!
