Q: We bought my daughter a BlaBla doll for Christmas last year and this year we would like to buy some clothes and accessories to go with her. BlaBla sells a selection of doll clothes but they are very basic and pretty pricey for what you get. Do any readers have suggestions for other doll clothes to purchase which would fit the 18" classic BlaBla dolls? I would love any tips ASAP. THANKS!

Shaw's Original Fir...
I would try Etsy, if something like this wouldn't work, then perhaps you could request some clothes. Good luck!
American Girl dolls and the various knock off versions are all 18 inches tall .... perhaps their clothes might work for BlaBla dolls? I've never seen a BlaBla doll in person so I don't know the exact proportions, but maybe you can get a cheap outfit at Target to test it out first? You can also find a lot of handmade clothes on etsy that fit the 18 inch American Girl doll proportions.
SillyCon Designs on etsy has adorable clothing for 15 inch dolls that I bet would work. We've bought several pieces for my daughter's doll and have been very pleased with them.

I bet anything made for 18" dolls would work- they even have some cheapish (around $8) selections at Micheal's. Most holiday craft shows will have someone selling clothes intended for American Girl dolls, you could always borrow the doll for a day to make sure those would fit.
We just got the Trixie (redheaded) doll for our 8 month old daughter for Christmas this year. I loved the Blabla clothes but agreed with you about the price. I ended up hanging onto a few of my daughters 0-3 clothes that were super cute and plan on using those. They are a little baggy but suit the purpose pretty well.
nellymom has a good tip on the baby clothes. Also try teddy bear clothes (Amazon) and clothes for the larger Waldorf dolls (Etsy or Nova Naturals etc). The oversize 'chubby' fit makes them easier to take on and off...a key feature nobody mentions ahead of time ;)
You don't mention the age of your daughter, but speaking from experience - my almost-three has success with skirts, hats, and vests (not jackets). I didn't know it takes many years indeed before on/off isn't an issue, and the older she gets the more being unable to do something makes her mad.
Also a little flannel diaper that closed with velcro from Etsy (reggiesdolls) was a HIT. A Waldorf doll kimono-type top with corduroy pants from Etsy (sillycondesigns) hasn't been too hard for her. All time favorite, a swimsuit. She loves the pajamas most really, but can't get them on herself, so we're in tears land at her bedtime hour sometimes!
Enjoy! Doll clothes are really fun to pick out!
nellymom that is brilliant--I also got a trixie for my little redhead for christmas this year and I think I still have some of 0-3 month dresses left.
I bought one dress with my trixie so that I can use it as a pattern to make more.
I have one question for people with the blabla dolls--the hair isn't quite what I expected. we have a blabla yoko and her hair basically flies free. I expected trixie's to be the same but it seems to be more firmer shaped. is that just my trixie or are they all like that?
lcg--at the same time I purchased Trixie, I got Henry, the boy doll, for a friend's son. His hair is just sewn down the middle and flops around, while Trixie's is stitched firmly around the crown of her head.
