What I love about gray is the large spectrum of shades and tones available. It can be a warmer greige, the perfect dove, or a cooler, more saturated graphite. Whatever you choose, white is the perfect complement to provide a highlight while still keeping it neutral.

Shaw's Original Fir...
It feels very cold to me but I love color.
I love it!
gorgeous!
just painted my bedroom gray and the trim stayed brightish white. it's such a contrast from the white only walls the previous owners chose. feels completely cozy and comfy.
oh my god. that kitchen in number three made me gasp. so beautiful.
I painted my whole house the colour of a storm I saw through the windows the first day I lived there, a wonderful warm gray (with white trim): I never tired of it.
So good! Though #2 is my favorite, because it is ALL about the mustard accents.
Please tell us where you got that table!
#5 links to the same Design*Sponge post as #7, but the picture for #5 doesn't appear anywhere within the post. Sad, I really like #5.
In my opinion, the best from above have a nice balance of warm wood, to compliment the white & grey. The others appear too cold & flat.
I am currently using several shades of grey for two lawyers offices. They happen to be occupied by men, but will be just as wonderful for women too. Mahogany desks, & black accents make these rooms crisp & stunning.
