For a long time now, I've been following the progress of a Denver museum being built to house the works of abstract expressionist Clyfford Still. Architect Brad Cloepfil of Allied Works Architecture has produced this fly-through animation to give you a sense of just how the finished building will look and feel.
Opening in the fall of 2011, the museum has two distinct design features. The first is a rough-hewn concrete cladding that reflects light in interesting ways throughout the day. The second is a lattice and motorized shade system that delivers diffused daylight to the gallery spaces.
We'll keep you posted as more information comes in about the opening, but please visit the museum's site to see what's in store.
