Generally, when we think of cobwebs hanging in our home we blush. "Wow - when did that sneak in here? You would think we never clean the living room!" But this is a cobweb we would welcome with open arms:
The Cobweb Chandelier by Carl Dern Studio is made by the sculptor of cast bronze branches tied with metal rope, draped with webs of serpentine, rock crystal, peridot, citrine, carnelian, calcite, and jasper. Take a further look at this and more lighting right here.

White Enamel Flatwa...
Way too "inspired" for me, lol.
A little more "production" and it would be absolutely breathtaking...
I"d like it a lot... if it was electric.
I kind of like it, that and the night fishing one. If I had a giant house I'd use it :)
I dunno. If a 5 year old could do it it's hard for me to look on it as high design, and this looks way too thrown together for me... or at least too "halloween kitsch".
Those are beautiful materials, so maybe in person it looks more luxe. On my computer screen, it shouts "year old haphazardly thrown tinsel."
I find it REALLY INCOMPREHENSIBLE how there is people in this kind of website with the "my 5 year old can do that" mentality.
I love the "Night Fishing" one!
It's beautiful.
You'd let your five year old play with molten bronze? ; )
The point is that a 5-year-old wouldn't have the IDEA to do that. Like Mandu PTY, I really hate the "my kid could do that" argument. Doesn't hold any salt with me.
I feel like the chandelier would be a bitch to dust, and soon there would be real cobwebs amongst the jeweled cobwebs.
But although it's not my taste, I respect the idea and the execution.
I really like these, but I agree, better if electric. Kind of casual and informal, but the stones would look beautiful in the light... I've strung mixed glass and crystal beads of different sizes to hang "stained glass" mosaic balls in a long window with similar effect. You don't appreciate the colors and the beauty of glass in sunlight until you really look. I think these would have that kind of impact, too.
The chandelier is lovely. Reminds me of something in an Arthur Rackham fairy tale illustration. (& As far as cleaning it--I would use a feather duster....)
I think it's beautiful. It remindes me of that painting of the fairies flitting over the cobwebs that have dew on them. The sepia coloured one. (It's super common but I can't find the image. Blast).
I feel it could work really well in certain movie sets or shops. The beads are nice enough for it to not look too Halloween-ish.
It'll have to be in the right setting to look good though.
I think it might look classier if the branches were white.
