NPR features 31 Rue Cambon, the apartment above the Paris Chanel boutique and couture salon, where Coco Chanel worked and spent much of her time. The luxurious flat is now used for photo shoots and press conferences, but it retains the decor chosen by Chanel.
Among Coco Chanel's possessions: an ancient Russian icon that Igor Stravinsky gave to her, a golden hand that friend Alberto Giacometti sculpted for her, and a shaft of wheat painted by Salvador Dali.

Coco Chanels Paris Flat:
Beautiful Beautiful! so romantic,
reminds me of New Orleans a little,
when i use to live there when i was small,
from washington state.
i just wish my house looked a fraction like that
Very nice and opulent, just too much for my taste however.
