We were just recently introduced to the Cocoon Fire Ranges and we can't take our eyes off of them. They wouldn't have a place anywhere in our home (too sleek, too modern) but we can't deny that they're pretty handsome...

Pretty handsome and pretty eco-friendly — the fireplaces run on ethanol, so they burn clean.

They remind us a lot of the EcoSmart fireplaces we saw last year at West Coast Green.

The Cocoon Fire Range pictured above is the Black Finish Hanging Model. Cocoon also makes a floor-standing model. Right now the ranges are only available in New Zealand, Australia, and Peru. Get more info here.
