I haven't done this in a long time, and though it probably won't go viral, colors and light are changing right now and getting so beautiful, I want to go back to this old feature (see all past Color Chips posts here). The idea here is that color inspiration is all around us, very seasonal and comes in natural palettes. It's worth taking notes of those that you really LIKE. Having done this you can then find ways of working your favorite color palettes into your home. Bigger pics below.

the 2nd, 3rd and 4th are almost identical to my color selections for rooms in my house! love it.
After seeing "The Kids Are Alright" I can't see an heirloom tomato without chuckling to myself.
I love doing this with the pantone app. I save the palettes for my next weaving project.
Love it... the best palates come from using natural objects like vegetables and fruits, landscapes, etc.
Such a fabulous post! I love the light in the fall and play this same game with leaves as they change. Right now, there are just a few flaming red against a background of deep green (with a few orange tips here and there). Simply gorgeous!
