We spotted these two hanging out together on Church Street a few weeks back, just aching for someone to take their picture. We know a lot of people would be hesitant to work with two super-saturated colors like bright orange and teal in a home; it's definitely a statement...
But we think a home with a minimalist aesthetic and mainly white background would be able to showcase this duo without letting them overwhelm.
Though they may seem disparate, we've seen orange and teal work well together in many a beach sunset. And, although more muted in this image, Rousseau's work often featured the two colors in harmony.

CB2 had a bedroom set up with a blue/teal wall and a lot of orange and green accents I thought worked really well. You can see it in the room views here...

Coral and Turquoise are my FAVORITE combo! I am dying to take that on in my real home and not just the one in my dreams!!
AT:San Francisco is orange and teal.
The palette for my great room is inspired by coral and an ocean blue/green color (I'm told it's 'verdegris') -- several shades removed from this super saturated teal. But in essence I think it's got the same heart.

I have a teal bathroom and an orange accented living room, and it's fantastic.
we used that color scheme for our wedding last fall...deep red orange and turquise/teal ( like Tiffany blue)- I did a mix of orange/red flowers in tiffany blue boxes, on turquise tablecloths....it was very colorful but lots of fun!!
This is a well-known relationship.
These colors look good together because they're complimentary colors. That is, they are roughly opposite each other on the color wheel.
The same goes for green- purple, and depending on the shade, red-green and yellow-blue.

Yep, my floor is painted teal and I have orange accents. It looks great!
Try teal and orange/red. I think an orange that is on the red side looks a little more sophisticated and less like sports team colors. I had my bedroom linens in this combination once and it was really pretty.
Love it. We have a freshly painted bright teal bedroom and the rest of the walls in the apt are either super bright fire orange or soft gold.
