Pink and yellow are cheerful colors that work well in rooms where you want to add some warmth. We probably wouldn't use it in a bedroom, since it's on the bright side, but it's great in kitchens, dining rooms, hallways, or home offices. This is a color combination that evokes spring and summer, and you find it a lot in Chinoiserie patterns and childrens' decor. We've rounded up a few inspiring examples...

peonies are my fav. Love that birthday party scene.
Where can I find that side table from slide 8??
I just did my bedroom in these colors! The palette is mocha, black and white with pops of pink and yellow. I think those accents adds a glamourous but also fresh, quirky feel to a cozy, dark bedroom.
When I was about 10, I got a bright pink swimsuit and a pale yellow beach towel for my birthday. I thought it was the greatest color combination ever. My love for the combo survived my adolescent antipathy to anything pink (a dislike that lingers somewhat to this day) and I know if I ever have kids, I'm using those colors. It can be really sophisticated, without being too grown-up for kids.
