So, we're about two weeks late (St. Patty's Day) or a week too early with this post (Easter); but what the hell, it's spring! Instead of the usual parade of pastels, we went hunting for some examples of beautiful shades of green that are bold, vibrant, and even a little unexpected. (Also, we might
have been motivated by Gregory's perpetual green boycott

Having recently flipped through the latest J.Crew catalogue, I'm inspired to label the colors here as "fern green" against a wallpaper of intricate leaf design in "mushroom brown" with cream accents and silver.
An example of "a lot of look": This contemporary shade of lime green (very popular over at CB2
, yes?) sits alongside stodgy florals.
In a primarily all-white home, the saturated green of the tablecloth draws all the attention to the table.
Green and gold will always remind me of my high school alma mater, but this soft shade of spring green is the perfect companion to the warm tones of gold and woodgrain.
