Softer than black and white, but with a metallic edge, silver and white is clean and cool. It's a great color combination for a bathroom or a modern loft. It can be a little cold, but warming it up with an accent color can help. Using distressed silver and rich textures also adds depth. Click below for more.

Philippe Starck is a master of metallic and glossy finishes, and he uses them in small doses to give a little kick to this white apartment.

Any one have a good silvery-grey paint color? This post is the theme I want to use for my bathroom (part of my spring cure!) and I haven't found any color swatches that I love yet.

I don't know if it's "silvery-grey" but I love Sherwin Williams' Repose Gray and have used in various rooms in my house. It's a sublte, cooler tone.... Hope that helps!
try Ralph Lauren's "Silver Plated" color. i used it in my bathroom.. with white gloss trim and black furniture, and it's simply gorgeous. see more pics of my bathroom here:
