I am usually wary of color combinations that make such a swift rise to fame. However, unlike gray and say, peach (huge in the late eighties and early nineties), the marriage of grays and yellows seems to have quite a bit of staying potential. What are your thoughts?

There are some links to some great bedrooms and living rooms with the same color scheme here: http://tiny.cc/xAR6n
i love it.
basically any bold color is going to look great against a solid grey.
lovely. relaxing. the arms (picture 6) are creepy though imo.
Loving this combo. I like all the wedding palettes that are going on with it, too!
This is one of Kelly Wearstler's favorite palettes, albeit mixed with lots of black accents.
That last picture is SO kick ass.
It's a beautiful palette, as is yellow with a pale gray-lavender. I wonder if it is very comfortable to live with.
I like it in theory, but I tried it in my bedroom and it went badly wrong. Bold colors are too much for a restful space, I think. I ended up repainting it a gorgeous olive green and I've never slept better.
Does anyone know where I can find a table like this one? It's gorgeous. I'm looking for a long, skinny table, preferably an extension that could seat 6-10.
I love this. I've got this color scheme in my bedroom. My walls are painted yellow but it's not overwhelming b/c I don't get a ton of sunlight in my room.
I have gray walls with white trim and one wall with gray and coconut cream yellow stripes in my bedroom and it looks fab!! I love this color combo!
I am crazy about this combination. It makes each space look so bright and sophisticated!

I love any gray paired with ultra white: bold purple, yellows and the occasional pink detail.
i love this color scheme...so me
Does anybody know the name of the grey in the third picture? It's dreamy!
Can someone tell me what paint was used for the deep gray walls in the last picture? The one featuring the hot pink table. Thank you!
Does anyone know where I can get that horse wall decal or is it a mural?
