New for Fall 2008 from Marimekko - a line of fabrics that reflect both the season and a darker, richer palette for home decor. Plums, olives, burnt oranges and greenish yellows are seen in many of the patterns, both new and reissued for this collection. Jump below for links and info:

Shown above the jump: Purnukka Black designed by Erja Hirvi, 2008. Purple/plum, pink, blue green and aqua with a bit of olive.

Terttu designed by Aino-Maija Metsola, 2008. Deep, grape-y purple, warm oranges, and limey yellows and greens.

La Botte Green designed by Maija Isola, 1975. Mix of Spring greens, orange-y cocoa brown and white.

Ginkgo Orange designed by Kristina Isola, 2008. Burnt orange and a chalky khaki green.

Sininen Gepardi Greene designed by Teresa Moorhouse, 2008. Yellow green, lime, olive, black and camel.
