We love a glamorous white bathroom. But there's something about the fun and surprise of a vivid bathroom in spectrum hues that breaks the current cookie cutter "basic is best" mode. Check out these bathrooms in every color of the rainbow from our House Tours…
Bathrooms are the smallest rooms in our homes, and a perfect place to embrace your personal style and experiment with color. You can go bold and not overwhelm. If you're not quite ready for shiny red tile, perhaps try a festive shower curtain, accessories & coordinating art.
Working in real estate, I've photographed more than enough neutral bathrooms with marble style tile and brushed nickel accessories. That's why I adore these bright bathrooms! Sure, it's great to have a shiny new pedestal sink and squeaky clean white grout, but the personality of vintage pink, aqua or yellow tiled bathrooms can be selling points, too!

Wow, I love the collection of mirrors in #10!
I have one thing to say, "NO YELLOW BATHROOMS". It sends the wrong connotation. My brain is already telling me it's stinky and I know it's not!
@ Do-over Design. LOL. that thought never even crossed my mind. I had a light yellow and blue tiled bathroom at one of my places. Built in the 40's.
I like the purple tiled one.
I am a huge fan of the bright, fun bathroom.
I had a purple bathroom in my last home--that first photo makes me miss it like crazy!
I love #12...but I'm sure 10 years from now the next homeowners will be cussing out the previous homeowners for choosing so much pink tile!
#2 and #12 just dazzle me!
I love when people just EMBRACE their pink tile. Maybe I can take something from that because I hate mine. Well, I hate mine, and the seven towel racks the previous owners drilled into it. Maybe I'll just go bold and embrace it rather than try to ignore it.
Keep the bathroom photos coming! I need some inspiration! ... though I have to say none of these float my boat.
I definitely need to remodel my small master bath, and am vaccilating between playing it safe with neutral colors (currently neutrals on the walls, but in textured wallpaper by prior owners) OR having fun with turquoise subway tile around the shower/bath and carrying the turquoise color over to the other walls (paint or wallpaper) ... but with other color, too ... all of which could cause potential buyers years from now to say either "Yay!" or "Yikes!" .. ;)
oh, I so want to post my pretty pearly green bathroom
Another vote for #12.Love it.I think this type of design could work easily with a neutral for the more timid types.
In my case it would be neutral...as in silver!
What fun rooms.
lorrainelorraine- I wish I had the cahounas and a finished room to present.I did memorialize the kitchen reno and when I get the finishes done,I'm considering a contribution to AT.
BUT,I'm nervous. To you I say-defo do it!Pearly green sounds like it could be awesome.
Bathrooms can be the best places in the house for colour.
I love #1 as it reminds me of my bathroom.
