There aren't too many new advances in the world of bedding. Sure there might be new prints and patterns and potentially some organic options, but did you know bedding also comes in plus-size for those looking for a little extra fabric to snuggle down in?
In the past we've talked about plus size furniture from Brylane Home and the options available for those who might be on the heavier side of life, but when we ran across these bedding options, we weren't necessarily thinking about those folks.
Instead we were more thinking of those who bed down with a blanket hog, a pet or someone who is perpetually disrupting your sleep due to their unruly blanket habits. These sheets and blankets are extra wide by almost 14" giving you more to snuggle down with. When it comes to their fitted sheets they're praised for fitting extra deep mattresses or those with foam toppers without slipping free.
Is plus size the right phrase for this size bedding? Or are there are enough folks desiring this size to create a whole new category on their own? Extended King? Wide Queen? Fatter Full? Share your thoughts on these new linens below!

Love the idea! I share my bed with a blanket hog and a pet, so have too many nights that are cold and/or result in a spat.
Comparing size for size - Lands' End Home blankets are very similar in sizes (their King blanket is actually larger) and their comforters are the same size if not larger as well...
...and all Lands' End fitted sheets have had extra-deep 18" deep corners for decades - at least since my mother started purchasing from them in the 1980's.
IMO, the best things about Lands' End is their quality - their merchandise is extremely well made - and their Unconditional Guarantee.
Brylane is the name of the company? And they make Plus-Sized furniture? Doesn't this sound familiar to anyone else? Recall Lane Bryant. Plus-Sized fashions.
toast - it's a related company. if you look at the fine print, they accept the Lane Bryant credit card as payment.
love the orange blankets - too bad they don't ship to Canada.
hmmmm .... i have a queen bed & bought a king blanket thinking i could snug up in it. i hate it. it's just too big for the bed & makes the bed look unmade even when it isn't.
I have a queen bed and bought a king sized comforter and it doesn't look messy, but I also have a pillow top mattress. I love it.
Okay, who the h-e-double-hockey-sticks created the graphic for this post? "We are plus size" in puffy letters? And what made you think the phrase "on the heavier side of life" was a good idea? The attempt to be cute is terribly insulting.
Their products leave a lot to be desired, at any price. The stuff is cheap and probably made by little kids in 3rd world countries. You can find oversized bedding elsewhere.
