October is color month here at Ohdeedoh and tots' utensils are an easy and fun way to add some visual interest at mealtime. Check out some of our favorite flatware, all of it BPA-free.
• IKEA KALAS: These are made of polypropylene, easy for little hands to hold, and $1.99 for 18 pieces.
• Beaba Soft Spoon and Fork Set: The combination of polypropylene and elastomere is designed to be durable and easy on gums as little ones transition to solids.
• Fred and Friends Snack Stack: Silicone handles snap together for easy storage and portability.
• Dandelion Reusable Utensils: These bright yellow utensils are made from an eco-friendly corn based bioplastic.
• Boon Benders: The adjustable angle of these utensils can be tweaked to accommodate new self-feeders and their emergent motor skills.

We love the Ikea flatware, but are on our third set as they are also great tub and sandbox toys.
I love the Ikea Kalas set! They're so versatile, colorful & CHEAP! I actually keep a couple packages in the pantry because they're a hot commodity at tea parties. I also love them because they're light weight, but don't go flying around in the dishwasher.

What a great round up, I have been looking for new cutlery for my toddler.
For new to solids eaters, I LOVE the babyhuman spoons. They are just perfect for an infant who wants to self-feed, the curved handle makes it easy for short arms to reach the mouth, and the shield behind the bowl of the spoon prevents the baby from gagging themself with it.

We love the Ikea Kalas set too! They're chunky enough for little toddler & pre-K fingers but still pretty functional (however, you're not gonna cut much with the knife that's denser than a cooked noodle).
We have a set of the Kalas too, though they end up in our lunchbags for work as often as they're used for our nieces. Nice and lightweight, and no big deal if they get lost somewhere!
