Colorful Painted Wood Paneling

We've seen a lot of wood paneled walls here on Apartment Therapy. Do you cover them, celebrate them, how can you lighten them up? One popular solution is to paint them. Since it's Color Month, I'm looking for examples of colorful paints on wood paneling.

The search for painted wood paneling followed a pretty heated discussion between my husband and I last night. Our guest bedroom currently has white-painted wood paneling in it that's, frankly, a little boring. Image 4 got me thinking about darkening the mood a bit in there with something more like charcoal. He was adamantly opposed. I gathered these examples of non-white-painted paneling, showed him, and by this morning he was saying, "About that paneling...". Looks like he's up for considering something bolder now. I'll keep you posted!
