Colorful Paper Quilt

Name: Bea (5) Location: Wichita, KS Color Inspiration: In the summer of 2005 we painted our guest room blue. And then we found out we were expecting our 2nd child. So I decided - no matter if it was a girl or boy - we were keeping the room blue. Instead, I chose to make an accent wall of colorful, gender-neutral, patterned & textured papers. I stapled decorative papers around pieces of foam core that were lined with quilt batting, and attached them to the wall with 3M Command Removable Fasteners. The wall looks like a giant block of quilt squares. And five years later... our daughter, Bea, still loves her colorful, cozy surroundings.
