White ceramic plates may be a classic, but vibrantly colored dishware always grabs my attention. They're so festive and give the impression that I'm going to have a fantastic time eating something scrumptious. Having a hard time choosing one color? Mix it up. Guests will always be able to identify their plates.
From aqua and yellow, to flamingo pink and seafoam green, a colorful kitchen will keep everyone smiling. Plus, a multicolored set will never make you grimace at a broken plate or bowl. You can always replace it with another color.

I LOVE the Anthropologie bowls (#1)! In case anyone was confused it is $30 for 6 bowls - very affordable when compared to the cost of other things at that store. I bought them for my college apartment years ago and they are still going strong. They have tons of colors (some seem seasonal so you may need to check back periodically for more options) and even have a mini size (8 for $20). Highly recommended!
I used to have the Anthropologie bowls, and they were cute but after a while they started to chip. My current multicolored bowls are from Fishs Eddy and I like them even better. I recently dropped one from the height of the upper kitchen cabinet, it fell into the sink, and didn't break or chip.
Fiesta® by Homer Laughlin.~ Made in the USA.
I also have Fiestaware by Homer Laughlin. I have place settings & accent pieces in two discontinued colors & I have added two new colors to the mix. I collected Fiesta as a teen (I mostly received them as Christmas & birthday gifts) in about 5 colors, some of which I no longer care for. So I sold those on Ebay & registered for turquoise & white place settings when I got married. So I now have Persimmon, a pale Yellow, Turquoise & White and I hope to add a few more accent pieces in the turquoise/white.
We similar white latte bowls from Crate and Barrel, but alas they all chipped and have been trashed. I love the shape of them, and wonder if I should gamble on those Anthropologie ones??
i did a simiilar look with HEATH CERAMICS bowls and plates.. ended up doing a mondrian set.. i love it!!
