It's safe to say that most of us own a couch and it's most likely where we spend a lot of time. Of course it's important that it's comfortable; but what about colorfully chic?
The easy decision in terms of choosing color for the couch is to stick with neutrals and more specifically of the beige variety. Don't get me wrong, there's absolutely nothing wrong with this — but it's certainly fun to introduce a little color into the couch.
If you're not super daring a muted blue or purple can inject a little color into the room. Maybe you're ready for a daring couch and yellow, green or bright blue would certainly do the trick. Have fun with it, after all, it is your home!

Shaw's Original Fir...
Totally agree! although I stuck with a charcoal gray couch. I find that its practical t have a neutral couch so that you can move it to all different locations.
My husband bought a sage green couch before we were married, and when we combined households, I initially wanted to swap it for a "neutral" color. But I have to say that sage green turns out to function just like a neutral -- it goes with almost every color -- blue, red, purple, orange... Who knew?
Oh no you didn't just put Jenna Lyons in your post! Oh yes you did!
Timely.

Oh, #4 is my favourite!
I recently found a huge royal blue velvet chesterfield on Craigslist for $300 - my husband thought I was crazy at first, since I used to always go for such neutrals, but the blue totally makes the room pop!
