Coloring Books by Claudia Pearson

Whether your family has been spending time tending a garden or just hitting the weekend farmer's market, it's a great time of the year to get kids excited about local food as well as teach them what fruits and vegetables are in season. Claudia Pearson's hand-drawn coloring book, 'buy local, eat seasonal' is a fun way to get started.

'buy local, eat seasonal' ($8) is filled with fruits and veggies by the month for your kids to color. You'll find things they're familiar with like corn and peaches and others you may want to introduce them to like rhubarb and parsnips.

Claudia makes two other coloring books - the India-themed Matta coloring book ($16) and Color with Claudia ($8) with fun, quirky subjects. We also love her new spring totes and towels which we spotted on the Kitchn today.
