Q: The first step into our converted 1940's Boston apartment is quite literally one step. A 2.5' x 3' open patch immediately leads to three short flights of brown carpeted stairs, with some unappealing off white walls with off white paneling. It's an eyesore coming in and going out. We want to concentrate on the walls. Colors? We also have two HUGE woolly pockets and were thinking of stacking them off centered, wrapped along one corner, but don't know how to put them up on the main wall because it's all brick. Advice and suggestions are very welcomed!
