How fun is this? A Pop-Art accent wall in shades of the 60's. I love this client for her quietly daring use of innovative design, and I wish I had other photos of the rest of the apartment to prove it...
One of my favorite things recently has been variations of the primary color triad, for example here: the teal blue lamp shade, scarlet table cloth and yellow wall. We nixed several yellows as too flabby, too orange, too too, before arriving at this—Beach Yellow. It’s got a dirty quality I find fascinating, almost like it’s green until it’s completely dry. In my humble opinion, if the wall were any warmer it would have been too rich. Neat. Textile by Marimekko.
