We have highlighted our affection for Colorware before when the company introduced colorized Kindles and iPads- after what's not to like about folks devoted to the idea of adding color to our lives through customized technology? If you love the idea of a pop of color, but don't want to make a permanent change to your iPad, then the new Grip from Colorware might be just what you need. Or not...the price may shock you.
The new Colorware Grip for iPad combines the joy of a custom color case with the utility of a versatile carrying handle. Manufactured in Minnesota using aircraft-grade aluminum, the Grip is a durable fitted carrying case that adds both color and utility to your iPad. As always with Colorware, you can customize from a wide selection of colors to make your Grip unique. The grip is also easy to install- just remove the four screws with the included custom allen wrench, then carefully slide it onto your iPad and replace the screws.
Admittedly the $300 price tag makes the Grip beyond a splurge; though we appreciate the fun and functional aspects of the design, we're still apt to recommend keeping those 3 Benjamins in your pocket and purchase a good iPad case instead.

Commercial Flour Sa...
So, let me get this straight... They want me to pay them $300 and wait 3-4 weeks for a crummy little handle for my iPad? That's ridiculous.
And $400 to recolor my iPad? That's just stupid.
These guys won't be around long.
Sorry, looking at their site, they've been around since 2000. I guess there really is a sucker born every minute.
Since it's machined aluminum, I would go maybe a hundred bucks. 300? not gonna happen. slick design though.
you've just paid how much for your iPad? and now you are going to pay another $300+ for a handle? What do YOU do for a living? $99 for a cover for a blackberry??? really?! when i could get one just as good at the mall for $10? wow. just wow.
