Most hotel rooms combine bedrooms and bathrooms in a small space, but the One Hotel in Cambodia actually combines the bed itself with a double sink system. Mounted to the opposite site of the headboard, a mirror hangs over the sinks and separates the sleeping area from the washroom. It's one way to make the most of a small space...
The platform bed defines all the spaces in the room. It also provides under-bed storage.
The platform connects to a small worktop/storage area in the corner.
The floor rises up to reveal a corner closet.
The double stone sink leads to a little toilet and shower area in back.

That room is just silly. It's perfectly possible to have a sink in a bedroom that isn't the size of a Buick.
I think it's gorgeous and luxurious. I would love to stay there!
i need my spaces to be separate. i don't want to be sleeping and hear my boyfriend get up and wash his hands behind my head....and an office area should not connect to a bed. bad sleep mojo.
i don't really see how it's saving space - just using a space differently.

Excellent for single person hotel stays. Less walls = more perceived space.
But I agree it wouldn't work for home or multi-person applications. There are some bodily functions which need to be done behind closed doors.
It is nice to see my hotel on this website. I just wanted to add my comments/corrections/additions. It is a hotel room after all, not an apartment and with most hotel rooms it is an integrated space of work, bed etc. We are located in Siem Reap, Cambodia and I would say that less than 5% of our guests come here to work, hence that is not the focus of the room.
The bedroom and bathroom plan is open, but the toilet area is behind closed doors so no need to worry about the privacy there. We can accommodate either one or two persons in the suite. We do not allow families or more than two persons to stay in the room. I would say 90% of our business comes from couples, very few single travelers. And the couples that stay with us are generally there for a special occasion: honeymoon, anniversary, special birthday etc.
It is a shame that the rest of the suite was not shown which is a private roof terrace above the bedroom. It features a jacuzzi, outdoor shower, day bed and dining table.
Correction: There is no storage under the bed. We have two white night stands that slide out for use in our turn down service but no storage. Certainly if this was a residential application that would be a must.
Correction: The sink is not the size of a Buick, more like a Mercedes A class.
