Location: Southampton Neighborhood, Saint Louis, Missouri
The room that is now Roscoe's nursery also serves as our home office. I used a dresser, which doubles as a changing table, to divide the space. We went back and forth about whether or not to keep the room divider, and ended up deciding to keep it.
We picked out the paint color when we moved into the house almost six years ago, when the room was going to be our guest room/office. With such a bold wall color, I wanted to keep the rest of the color scheme fairly neutral: black, white, and grey, with yellow accents, which led to the idea of a moon and stars theme.
The theme is most evident in the gallery wall of moon and space related art from Etsy above the crib. The large moon print was actually a piece of Rodarte wrapping paper that we framed. The quilt on the crib was made by a relative. I made the felt moon and stars mobile (DIY here).
The table/chest by the bed is vintage. We have a dachshund, which is what inspired us to get the lamp (which we've actually had for years) and the stuffed dachshund from Etsy. I had to special request the black, white and yellow color combination, but the shop was very accommodating.
