Though it looks great, we are a little skeptical of the upkeep involved with using cushions and pillows in outdoor design. We are all about Making the Most of a Small Outdoor Space and this little terrace seems to have it all figured out!

Few are so lucky to have a terrace off of their apartment. This tiny terrace in Sweden (found on Alvhem) is maximizing its comfort level while also providing a place to stash pillows and blankets when they are not in use. Checking in at 10 sq meters (about 30sq feet), it offers a place to lounge and a place to dine while enjoying the view.

At last someone shows a practical solution to the "what if it rains" issue of using fabric outdoors! (Around here, the pollen would be as icky as the mildew...) I love the comfort of cushions outside, but never used them because I'm not willing to store them indoors most of the time. (No space for one thing.) This is a system I might be able to adapt!
Ohhhhh my goodness, ADORABLE!
Niiiice! Cozy, looks like a vacation spot.
Very cute! Looks like a boat.
You have to use fabric designed for outdoor use as well as a place to store cushions, but the look and feel of colorful cushions is so cozy it's worth the trouble.
I started gasping when I saw gthe space and the photos: this is EXACTLY how I envisioned my home that is about to undergo renovation. i live in an attic in Milan that is heavily in need of renovation. In my mind...it would come out looking like this. I'm taking this picture to my contractor!
I love this photo so much, it's been my desktop wallpaper for the past month!
Luv the view of the water tank from the rooftop!
