Coming Up: Historic Bungalow/Green Home Expo

Bungalow style mixed with sustainable products and technologies. Historic architecture rehab and renovation will meet the modern side of building, the quest for sustainability and energy/resource savings at this years upcoming one day expo put on by the Historic Chicago Bungalow Association.

Small-space supporter Marc Vassallo, Architect and Author of Inside the Not So Big House is one of the featured speakers this year.
The free event at the Merchandise Mart (a new venue this time to accomodate more visitors and exhibitors) takes place Saturday September 30 from 10am to 4pm.

Part of a two weekend event, "At Home in Chicago", the expo will have 40 seminars ranging from redesigning your kitchen to saving "green" by going green. More than 100 vendors will be there, including artisans, tradespeople and architects.
