Community Shred Event on June 28th

Despite our best intentions to always stay on top of paperwork disposal, the unfortunate reality is we've toted boxes of paper through four countries in ten years- the madness has got to end! Faced with the lofty goal of going paperless by the end of the fiscal year, we've been sorting and tossing, and watching with despair as the "to be shredded" pile grew and grew...

Imagine our delight when we stumbled upon this announcement of a community shred event on June 28th at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. You can bring up to five boxes of personal papers to the Fairgrounds from 8am to 11am to be shredded for free. All types of personal paper, empty binders, credit cards and computer disks will be accepted for destruction; no business or commercial material will be accepted. We can't wait- we've got at least three boxes ready to go, and may be able to get to five by Saturday!
