We love vintage kitchen appliances. Our small 1917 built apartment came complete with a Blue Bonnet gas range which is just 20" in width and fits well in the narrow space we call out kitchen. BUT, it has a very unreliable oven, with inconsistent cooking temperatures, so we've been researching modern compact range and oven combos as a replacement since we love cooking. That's when we ran into these truly compact kitchen combo setups with sink, cooktops and even refrigerators all in a single unit...

If you've got a small kitchen to outfit you might be shocked to discover how expensive smaller sized kitchen appliances can cost. Like everything else in home electronics and appliances, miniaturized versions tack on costs despite requiring less material. While perusing small sized gas ranges, we noted these New York state of mind compact kitchens at CompactAppliance.com. Perfect for studios and dorm-style living, the all-in-one setups range from a modest 30" width all the way to a more expansive 60" combo with fridge, freezer, sink and storage.

At prices from $578-$1424 these aren't exactly small space dweller's budget cheap. But for people without really a choice, these small space kitchen appliance solutions may be their best bet.
