Over the holidays, I was in Colorado and despite the snowstorms, I was able to make it to Composition. This is a great modern design store in the newish Belmar shopping district, just west of Denver. In addition to a well-edited selection of design and architecture books, FLOR, Chilewich and Unison textiles, Composition has an amazing selection of stationery and office accessories, great bags, wallets and jewelry...

There's a great area to check out FLOR samples. That's Blu Dot's Bonnie & Clyde sofas in guacamole.

Composition carries Russel + Hazel, M.O., and a few other well-designed series of stationery and office organizers. This is the first place I've seen those grid pads based on famous designers (like Corbusier).
